The Strength of an Icon
A dramatically transformed cabin takes the G-Class into a new era of comfort, convenience and connectivity, while continuing its rich tradition of careful craftsmanship. The wide dash integrates vivid displays and turbine-style air vents, along with the signature controls for the three differential locks. The wide console offers an intuitive touchpad and generous cupholders.
AMG Body Styling
The visible muscle of the AMG G 63 offers ample evidence of its all-around capability. AMG-design bumpers feature chrome trim elements, and are sculpted to flow into the wider AMG fender flares. Large, functional mesh intakes in the front apron feed vital air to the engine, intercoolers, and cooling systems for the engine and transmission oil. The side strips on the body are in solid black, with AMG logos in the segment ahead of each front door.
AMG Performance Steering Wheel
Large, perforated side grips with raised thumbrests, four aluminum-clad spokes, and a flat-bottom design highlight the AMG Performance steering wheel. Its Touch Control Buttons and dual aluminum AMG shift paddles make it as rewarding to use as it is simply to hold.
12.3-Inch Digital Instrument Cluster
A 12.3-inch screen is placed directly in front of the driver. Its customizable displays include AMG-design instrumentation and a large multifunction menu screen with illustrated and animated menus for performance criteria, vehicle information, settings, and driver-assistance features. A number of instrumentation styles can be selected, some tied to the driving modes of AMG DYNAMIC SELECT.
12.3-Inch High-Resolution Central Display
A crisp, high-resolution screen uses a high pixel count, a fast refresh rate and automatic adjustment to ambient light to provide seamless display of entertainment, comfort and convenience features, and customizable vehicle settings. Linear-style menus are more intuitive and offer easy access via the touchpad controller on the console or the right-hand Touch Control Buttons on the steering wheel.
3-Zone Climate Control
In addition to the separate left and right temperature controls, a third zone is dedicated to the rear cabin. Along with fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a humidity sensor, a dust/pollen filter, and an activated charcoal filter that helps remove odors from the cabin air. The rear-cabin settings can be adjusted from control panels in the dash and in the second row.
Touchpad Controller
The central controller falls naturally to hand, teaming an intuitive touchpad with a rotary knob and one-touch keys for major functions. The touchpad responds to a variety of finger motions, including swipe, pinch and even handwriting.
Truly Spacious, Truly Special
The spacious, sumptuous seating allows five adults to enjoy the increased elbow and shoulder room.

Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 Bi-Turbo Engine
AMG has developed a high-output yet more compact engine for a new era of performance. The 585-hp 4.0L V8 biturbo engine is more responsive yet more fuel-efficient than its larger predecessor. Its massive torque reaches its 850 Nm peak from 2,500 to 3,500 rpm, for a 4.5-second 0-60 time and instant acceleration at any speed. Yet even with its advanced design and technologies, each AMG G 63 engine is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.

Power Tilt/Sliding Glass Sunroof
The G-Class sunroof features heat-rejecting tinted glass. At the touch of a button, the sunroof tilts up at the rear for ventilation, or slides open for a breezy view of the sky. An express feature fully opens or closes the roof with a single touch, and a manual sliding sunshade helps block out unwanted sunlight.
Burmester Surround Sound System
One of the most respected makers of handcrafted high-end home audio, Germany's Burmester® has developed a surround-sound system that's specifically tailored to the G-Class. With 15 high-quality speakers and a 590-watt, 10-channel digital amplifier, the system fills the cabin with pure surround sound while seamlessly compensating for ambient noise. Exquisitely detailed aluminum speaker grilles are as rewarding to the eyes as the system's output is to the most discerning ears.
Power Front Seats With Memory
Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you and your front passenger find your ideal seating positions with 10-way power adjustment. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button. The driver-seat memory also includes the power steering column and side mirror positions.
KEYLESS-GO
A leap in ease and efficiency pioneered by Mercedes-Benz, KEYLESS-GO® lets you unlock, start and drive away without removing the SmartKey from your pocket or purse. You can lock and unlock the doors with a touch of the exterior handles, and start the engine by stepping on the brake pedal and pushing the Start/Stop button on the dashboard.
22-Inch AMG Cross-Spoke Wheels
Supersized 22-inch AMG® cross-spoke wheels take on their most aggressive style with matte black spokes and centers. A thin perimeter of machined aluminum sets off the 285/45R21 summer performance tires, including the rear-mounted spare.
MULTIBEAM LED Headlamps
The high-resolution MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, each with individually controlled high-performance LEDs, automatically illuminate the road with a hitherto unsurpassed, precision-controlled distribution of exceptionally bright light – without dazzling other road users.
