High-style, high-tech cabin
Fine materials, forward-thinking technology and fresh style unite in a cabin that's equally practical and stylish, from the aircraft-inspired round vents to the reclining, 40/20/40-split rear seats.
Heightened style, wide-ranging appeal
The second-generation GLA packs big ideas into a compact footprint. Nearly four inches taller than the original, it's shorter in length to make it even more maneuverable. Slim LED headlamps draw the eye and the wind from the wide grille to the flowing contours of its muscular profile.
Sport front seats
Sport front seats feature deeper side bolsters to offer enhanced lateral support.
Dual-zone automatic climate control
Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 5 microns from entering the cabin. Five adjustable vents in the dash and a pair of rear-cabin air vents help maintain passenger enjoyment throughout the cabin.
KEYLESS-START
As rewarding as it is to have the key to a GLA in your pocket or purse, you never need to take it out to start the car. Just step on the brake and push on the Start/Stop button on the dash, and you can be on your way.
Cruise control
Electronic speed control helps make open-highway driving easier. Settings are easily adjusted via controls on the right steering-wheel spoke.
Touchpad controller
A large touchpad controller on the console lets you operate the in-dash central touchscreen while your hand rests comfortably at your side. The touchpad works a lot like your smartphone, including multitouch gestures like swiping through menus and pinching to zoom.
Spacious cargo area
The generous cargo area is richly carpeted and easy to access through the wide power liftgate. A height-adjustable load floor and adjustable rear seatback angles enhance its flexibility.
40/20/40-split folding/reclining rear seats
The rear seatbacks fold down in a 40/20/40 split, letting you to expand the cargo capacity of your GLA in a variety of configurations. The seatbacks also recline up to 5.5 inches. You can also fold the center section independently, to fit longer items like skis between two rear passengers.

Panoramic glass sunroof
Offering sweeping skyward views to both seating rows, this giant, fully functional glass sunroof features a large panel that can tilt up for ventilation or slide back for an open-air feeling. A power interior shade lets occupants vary the amount of sunlight entering the cabin. (Available in Premium Plus Package)
64-color LED ambient lighting with illuminated vents
A network of LEDs let you create cabin ambience to suit your mood. Edge-lighting outlines the dash/door trim and console, while casting a glow in the dash vents, footwells, door handles and door pockets. Along with 64 selectable colors, three cabin zones and adjustable brightness, numerous programs let you enjoy two colors at once, and either static or slowly changing hues. A "light show" greets your arrival, while the dash vent lighting briefly acknowledges your climate-control adjustments. (Available in Premium Package)
10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia display
The wide central screen offers more easily visible readouts, navigation maps, and illustrated and animated menus. Measuring more than 10 inches diagonally, the display is mounted atop the center dash to stay close to your sightlines, yet its slim, visor-free design stays vivid in sunlight and elegant all the time. Split-screen options let you display multiple functions at once, and you can access the screen via the console controller or right Touch Control Button on the steering wheel. (Available in Premium Package)
10.25-inch digital instrument cluster display
A 10.25-inch high-resolution color screen in front of the driver offers customizable instrumentation. Three selectable designs, Classic, Sport and Understated, combine analog-style gauges with digital and graphical readouts. They all also incorporate a large multifunction screen with illustrated and animated menus, plus readouts for vehicle information, feature settings and driver-assistance systems. It's easy to scroll through the menus via the left steering-wheel Touch Control Button. (Available in Premium Package)
Power front seats with 3-position memory
Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you find your ideal driving position with 8-way power adjustment, including 4-way power lumbar support. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button. The driver-seat memory also includes the power side mirror positions. Both front seats also feature adjustable cushion length, for optimal thigh support and added comfort. (Available in Premium Plus Package)
MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist
The high-resolution MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, each with individually controlled high-performance LEDs, automatically illuminate the road with a hitherto unsurpassed, precision-controlled distribution of exceptionally bright light – without dazzling other road users. (Available in Premium Plus Package)
